These beautiful Ginkgo Leaf pierced earrings are made from beautiful solid brass stamped from vintage machines still in use today.
I chose to accent these lovely brass Ginkgo Leaves with brass lever back ear wires that have a cute little fan accent.

They have a lovely warm patina I applied myself which brings out the wonderful detail of these brass Ginkgo stampings.

The Ginkgo Leaf dimensions are approximately 28x25mm or approx 1 1/4 inches long by approx 1 inch wide. The ear wires add approx 3/4 inches.

This is a nice pair of pierced earrings that will go well dressed up or down. These would look lovely worn at an outdoor event, a garden party, a luncheon or even hiking!
I visited France several years and got to picnic under a real ginkgo tree. The little leaves do look like these and were laying all around me.

Ginkgo is a genus of highly unusual non-flowering plants with one extant species, G. biloba regarded as a living fossil.

Living fossil is an informal term for any living species (or clade) of organism which appears to be the same as a species otherwise only known from fossils and has no close living relatives. These species have all survived major extinction events, and generally retain low taxonomic diversities. A species which successfully radiates (forming many new species after a possible genetic bottleneck) has become too successful to be considered a "living fossil".
